The Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011, Section 78 states; “The PCBU at a workplace, must manage risks to health and safety associated with a fall by a person from one level to another that is reasonably likely to cause injury to the person or any other person.”

However, the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulation 2017, Section 92 states; “(1) A coal mine’s safety and health management system must provide for controlling risk associated with working at heights at the mine. (2) If a person is required to work at a height greater than 2.4m, the system must provide for minimising the person’s risk of injury from falling.”

The Working at Heights course Brisbane is essential if you’re working in a position where there is any risk of a fall in the resources, factory, construction, maintenance and infrastructure industries.

Our working at heights training will provide you with the skills, knowledge and most importantly the confidence required to work safely at heights in the work environment safely.  For most work sites the White card, working at heights training and confined space training, are the first step and basic requirements prior to stepping foot on a worksite.

With a view to preventing falls, the Working at Heights Course Brisbane will help you to work at any height in the work environment.  You will learn to apply policies and procedures, use document information to interpret and apply technical and safety information; assess hazards and risks for working at heights and how to control them; use of personal protective equipment; identifying safety systems and fall protection equipment (rigging of and anchoring systems) and checking the fitting, adjustments and anchoring of fall protection equipment.

Course requirements

For the Working at Heights Course Brisbane, it is recommended that participants should have sound language, literacy and numeracy skills.  The participant should contact All Training Services prior to enrolment for a free assessment if they’re unsure whether they meet this requirement.

•    Please read our Student Handbook for student rights and obligations prior to course registration.
•    By enrolling in a course you are deemed to have accepted the policies and procedures of All Training Services
•    Please be at the course 15 minutes prior to commencement of course.
•    Admission after the course has commenced will be left to Management’s discretion.  A 100% fee will be charged for non-attendance if less than 48 hours or no notice is given in writing.


There are no prerequisites for the Working at Heights Course Brisbane; however applicants should be over 18 years of age.
